The invention relates to sanitary equipment. A wash-basin comprises a mixer which is connected to a water pipe and is arranged at the top center of the wash-basin. A drain for carrying wastewater into a sewage system via a siphon is disposed in the base of the wash-basin. Slightly inclined sole-shaped footrests are symmetrically arranged on either side of the wash-basin wall and are provided with protrusions to allow for good grip and the drainage of wastewater through grooves. The wash-basin is made in the form of a single L-shaped piece. Furthermore, the wash-basin is designed in such a way that a seat can be placed against it. The invention eases the ritual washing process.
