<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter removal implement removing foreign matter on rolls without being exposed to high-temperature environments for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The foreign matter removal implement is mounted on a row of rolls which are arranged in parallel and mounts and runs a metal material, and the rotation of the rolls causes the foreign matter removal implement to run on the row of the rolls. The foreign matter removal implement includes an implement body having a window and chains, and the chains are attached so as to extend in a direction intersecting with the axis of the rolls and have specified looseness.
