PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet paper, in which an ink absorption rate is heightened by leaps and bounds and the setting speed in an ink jet printing is improved so as to exceed that in an electrophotographic process, and an image forming method and a device employing the same. SOLUTION: In the ink jet paper having at least one inorganic particle- containing ink absorbing layer on a support, the inorganic particles are made of a substance having a photocatalytic function. In the image forming method, a means for forming an image by the jetting of ink droplets and a means for shining the ink jet paper by a light emitted from an exciting light source, are employed. In the image forming device, the image forming means employing the ink jet paper is employed and the means for forming the image through the jetting of the ink droplets and the means for shining the ink jet paper by the light emitted from the exciting light source are employed for employing the ink jet paper. |
