<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position adjusting device for a fixing unit by which the attaching position of a fixing device to a frame is easily adjusted to an appropriate position so as to hold the parallelism of the fixing device and a transfer belt in the frame, and also the fixing device is attached to a home position without taking trouble at the service time. <P>SOLUTION: The projecting bar of the frame 18 is fit in the hole of one end face of the fixing unit 15 on one end side in a direction orthogonal to a paper carrying direction so as to position the fixing unit 15 to the frame 18, and the projecting bar 26 of a position adjusting member 25 is inserted through the slot 21 of the frame 18 and the slot 24 of a position adjusting plate 23 temporarily fixed on the frame 18, and also the projecting bar 26 is fit in the hole 22 of the other end face 15c of the fixing unit 15 on the other end side, then the position adjusting member 25 is slid in the paper carrying direction on the position adjusting plate 23, thereby the position of the fixing unit 15 to the transfer belt is adjusted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
