<p>The casting body, on which a machine-readable code (C) is disposed, comprises a riser (S) or other shaping element required for casting the casting body and detached after hardening cast raw part, where the code contains information that is assigned to the casting body and is carried by a separately prefabricated code carrier (1) that is molded with a section in the casting body and is detachably connected with the casting body. The code carrier is cast with a section in the riser or other shaping element, and comprises an indication section (3) carrying code and a fastening section (2). The code is an optically readable character sequence or line sequence, is engraved in the code carrier, and contains redundant data.
