PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To independently and separately determine each impedance of both hands, both feet ad a trunk part, following the actual body constitution as much as possible. SOLUTION: A plurality of trunk equivalent impedance R5 and R6 are set to the trunk of the body, corresponding to each power applying route between right hand electrodes E1 and E2 and left hand electrodes E3 and E4, between right foot electrodes E5 and E6 and left foot electrodes E7 and E8, between the right hand electrodes E1 and E2 and the left foot electrodes E7 and E8, between the left hand electrodes E3 and E4 and the right foot electrodes E5 and E6, between the right hand electrodes E1 and E2 and the right foot electrodes E5 and E6, and between the left hand electrodes E3 and E4 and the left foot electrodes E7 and E8. Power is applied to each power applying route to measure the impedance values of a plurality of trunk parts, and the fat quantity in the trunk is obtained on the basis of the measured impedance value of each part. |
