<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite fabric which has high heat resistance and high rigidity enabling pleat processing and honeycomb processing without deteriorating the excellent characteristics of fluororesin-based fibers, to provide a pleat type bag filter, and to provide a method for producing the composite fabric. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This composite fabric is characterized by comprising 50 to 90 wt.% of fluororesin-based fibers and 10 to 50 wt.% of heat-resistant fibers and adhering a binder resin in an amount of 5 to 50 pts.wt. to the fabric. The pleat type bag filter is formed by pleating the heat-resistant composite fabric. The method for producing the composite fabric is characterized by subjecting a needle punching or water jet punching treatment to a web comprising 50 to 90 wt.% of the fluororesin-based fibers and 10 to 90 wt.% of the heat-resistant fibers to form the integrated fabric, impregnating the fabric with 5 to 50 pts.wt. of a binder resin, and then drying and curing the fabric.
