The strip (1) has a cooling layer (8) for conveying cooling liquid and arranged between two winding parts (5, 12). A winding end connection (2) forms a front part of one of the winding parts (5). An end of the winding part is electrically connected with an end rail (6), and a front part of the other winding part is electrically connected with a front rail (13). The end and front rails are electrically connected with each other at a head side. An end of the latter winding part forms another winding end connection (3).
