The system has an electronic control unit (50) for storing information about an individual difference of a fuel injection valve, where the information includes information about a current measured value of a maximum value of an injecting rate of the valve. A determining unit is provided for variable determination of pressure of the fuel, which is supplied by a fuel pump (4), inside an accumulation chamber (6) based on the information.
