The device (1) has an auxiliary channel (8) opened in a main channel (5) near a distal end (3) of the device, and permitting injection of respirable gas jet in the main channel. A deflection unit i.e. inclined face (14b), deflects the gas jet injected by the auxiliary channel toward inner side of the main channel. A sealing unit i.e. annular inflatable tube (21), surrounds the distal end, and assures sealed gaseous communication, at a throat of a patient, between a trachea of the patient and the main channel. A proximal end (2) of the device rests at outer side of mouth of the patient. |
