The light has one or more lamps arranged in a reflector (1) with a light outlet opening so that light from the lamps is reflected to the opening. The reflector has a roof section (7) and one or more side walls (91-93). At least one coherent region of the reflector near the side walls at least partly scatters light and at least one other region (15) reflects light essentially directionally.
