PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently drive dust-proof glass that can not specify a resonance frequency resulting from a variable factor in a vibration mode by a resonance frequency. SOLUTION: By executing dust elimination operation 1 by a first driving mode for driving a piezoelectric element while switching a plurality of types of frequencies and scanning a prescribed frequency range including a resonance frequency in which the dust-proof glass is resonated (step S009 and S012) and dust elimination operation 2 by a second driving mode for scanning a frequency range narrower than that of the first driving mode while including the resonance frequency (step S020), a vibration mode by the resonance frequency is secured and the dust-proof glass is effectively vibrated. In addition, since the dust elimination operation 2 (step S020) is performed every time for a short period of time at the timing of active mirror lockup operation (step S021) before photographing, a time lag for transition to photographing is not generated by the dust elimination operation 2, and power consumption can be suppressed.
