<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain air bag to secure the protection of an occupant without storing the air bag into a front pillar garnish in the curtain air bag. <P>SOLUTION: This curtain air bag has a main expansion part 10 to protect a lower part corresponding to a roof side rail part and an extended expansion part 11 to protect a vehicle front side lower part by being extended to a vehicle front side over the lower part corresponding to the roof side rail part.
