摘要

PURPOSE: A display device is provided to reduce a thickness of the display device by providing a light to a display panel using a backlight unit for a module type consisting of a plurality of light guide plates. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of light sources(13) is located on a substrate and emits a light. A light guide plate(15) is composed of a light incidence part(15b) and a light emitting part(15a). The light incidence part includes an incidence face incidence with coming the light from the light source to the side. The light emitting part emits the light incoming to an upper side. An adjacent optical assembly in a plurality of optical assemblies has an overlapped part.
