PURPOSE: A head gasket is provided to increase the fatigue rigidity of the collapsible part and improve the sealing performance around the cylinder bore by forming a gap between the coating layer and metal plates. CONSTITUTION: A head gasket comprises an upper metal plate(210), a lower metal plate(220), and a coating layer(230). The upper metal plate comprises one or more bores(240) corresponding to cylinder bores. The lower metal plate comprises one or more bores corresponding to the cylinder bores and is located under the upper metal plate. The coating layer is formed excluding a fixed interval at an edge of the upper metal plate and the lower metal plate. A folded part(221) is formed on one end of the lower metal plate to be folded over the upper metal plate.
