PURPOSE: A protective film is provided to maintain adhesive force even after the protective film is left for a long time due to raw material having excellent commerciality of an adhesive layer, to prevent the generation of residue, and to prevent the protective film from being lifted when the protective film is attached to a base material. CONSTITUTION: A protective film(100) comprises: a base film(110); and an adhesive layer(130) which is obtained by coating one side of the base film with an adhesive containing a polystyrene-based block copolymer and hydrogenated dicyclopentadiene hydrocarbon resin. The hydrogenated dicyclopentadiene hydrocarbon resin has an average molecular weight of 300 - 3,000 and a softening point of 60~150°C.
