PURPOSE: A method for transmitting synchronization and broadcasting channels and femto base station thereof are provided to efficiently allocate wireless resource between a femto cell and a macro cell. CONSTITUTION: A femto BS(Base Station) obtains the segment information from a macro BS. The macro BS is overlapped with the femto BS. The femto BS distinguishes subcarrier or a segment used by the macro BS. The femto BS transmits one or more SCH(Synchronization Channel) and control information channel of the femto cell on the distinguished segment or subcarrier and other segment or subcarrier.
