MOBILE TERMINAL HAVING MEMU BAR AND MENU BAR DISPLAYING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having menu bar and a menu bar displaying method thereof are provided to display menu which fits operation state of a cursor or current main area, thereby conveniently performing desired function in a few key operation. CONSTITUTION: A control unit detects dragging of a menu bar(S10). The control unit checks operation mode of the terminal(S11). The control unit checks the direction of the drag(S12). According to an operation mode and drag direction of the terminal, the control unit opens the menu bar in the drag direction of the menu bar by a drawer shape. The control unit displays one or more menus related to the operation mode of the terminal in menu area by open of the menu bar(S13,S15).
