FUEL CELLS SYSTEM FOR CHARGING ELECTRIC CAR AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A fuel cell system of an electric vehicle charging station and a control method thereof are provided to prevent load concentration of local system power using a fuel cell generator as an auxiliary power source. CONSTITUTION: A main power supply unit(200) supplies system power to a charging station(100). A fuel cell power supply unit(300) receives power generated by the fuel cell generator inside the charging station. A power supply unit(500) receives power generated from the fuel cell generator outside the charging station. The power supply unit supplies the power generated by the fuel cell generator inside the charging station to the outside. A peak load controller(400) maintains the load of the main power supply unit below a preset level by controlling the operation of the fuel cell power supply unit and the power supply unit when charging the electric vehicle.
