PURPOSE: A built-in type cooker is provided to minimize heat transfer from a heating unit to a cabinet in which the heating unit is installed by effective heat insulation. CONSTITUTION: A built-in type cooker comprises a cabinet(10), a top plate(13), a heating unit(11), and an insulation layer(14). The cabinet has a polygonal shape with open top. The top plate is provided on the top of the cabinet. The heating unit is installed inside the cabinet to heat food. The insulation layer is formed between the rim surface of the cabinet and the heating unit in order to prevent heat transfer from the heating unit to the cabinet.
