PURPOSE: A check valve for oil jet and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent abrasion by increasing the area of a ball mounting surface and to achieve fine organization and high hardness of the ball mounting surface. CONSTITUTION: A check valve for oil jet comprises a housing(210), a ball(220), a spring(240), and a cap(230). The housing comprises an inlet port(211) through which oil flows in from a main gallery and an outlet port(212) through which oil flows out to a nozzle. A rounded ball mounting surface(213) is formed on the inlet port. The ball opens and closes the inlet port by hydraulic pressure actuating on the inlet side of the housing. The spring supports the ball against the inlet port and repeats compression and restoration by the hydraulic pressure actuating on the inlet port. The cap pressed in an end of the housing supports the spring and restricts the downward movement of the ball.
