PURPOSE: An accident recording system, a vehicle using the same, and a method thereof are provided to improve reliability of stored data by coding a state information message stored in the accident recording system. CONSTITUTION: An accident recording system comprises an accident recording device(210) and an electronic control device. The accident recording device receives and stores an encryption key from a vehicle key(100). The electronic control device codes a state information message using the encryption key and transfers the state information message. The vehicle key has a wireless communication part(110), a starting button(120), a storage part(130), and a control part(140).
