APPARATUS FOR GENERATING LOCATION INFORMATION BASED ON WEB MAP AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A location information generating device based on a web map and a method thereof are provided to provide the exact location information based on the information obtaining from the real satellite by connecting to the web map service. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(110) receives the web map web map information storage server in which the web map is saved. A display unit(130) displays the received web map and the pointer for the positional information search of the web map. A location information extractor unit(150) extracts the location information corresponding to each spot selected according to the movement of pointer. A location data generator unit(170) generates position data by using the location information.
