CALCULATING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF SOC OF A BATTERY IN A HYBRID CAR

PURPOSE: A method for cross-checking controllers of a hybrid vehicle is provided to monitor and control the controller which is abnormally operating using other controllers by transferring a checked result to the other controllers. CONSTITUTION: A method for cross-checking controllers of a hybrid vehicle comprises: a first step(S21) of recognizing functions in order which are performed within a program of a first controller; a second step(S23) of comparing the recognized function with a performed function when a random function is performed in the first controller; a third step(S26) of returning to the second step when the two functions accord and of transferring error information to a second controller when the two functions does not accord; a fourth step(S28) of receiving the error information from the first controller using the second controller and of transmitting a reset command to the first controller when reset is necessary in the first controller; and a fifth step(S29) of resetting a controller hardware when the first controller receives the reset command from the second controller.
