PURPOSE: A center parking brake device for a commercial vehicle is provided to prevent a safety accident occurred when a vehicle is parked in a slope. CONSTITUTION: A center parking brake device for commercial vehicle comprises a connection part(260), a parking brake drum, a bracket(152), a rotational plate(156), and a parking cable(300). The connection part connects a transmission for a commercial vehicle and a propeller shaft. The parking brake drum is coupled to the connection part and is rotated with the connection part. The bracket is connected to a brake shoe lever(120) which is contiguous to the parking brake drum. A rotational roller(154) is formed in the bracket. The rotational plate is arranged to be contiguous to the bracket. A frictional pad(157) is formed in the rotational plate. The end of the parking cable is fixed to the rotational plate through the rotational roller. |
