<p>PURPOSE: If a radio broadcasting reception environment is changed, a method for tuning a radio broadcasting frequency and a mobile terminal therefor are provided to receive radio broadcasting signal by applying calculated tuning information, thereby providing a high quality of radio broadcasting to a user. CONSTITUTION: If a power source of a mobile terminal is turned on, a control unit checks an accessible service network(210,220). If a country providing the accessible service network is not the same as a country of previously connected service network, the control unit determines performance of calculating tuning information required by a radio broadcasting reception in a moved country(230,240). A tuning information calculator calculates the required tuning information by received RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indication) value per frequency(250).</p> |
