PURPOSE: A device for preventing water remaining at a water pump from flowing backward is provided to supply water in the state water is filled in the water pump by preventing water from flowing backward through an inlet. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing water remaining at a water pump(100) from flowing backward comprises a lower cover(70), a locking member(60), and a support member(50). The lower cover is coupled to the bottom of the water pump and is located on the floor of water reservoir. A plurality of intake grooves(71) inhaling water are formed at the center of the lower cover. The locking member makes tight contact with the intake grooves of the lower cover to enable the inhaled water to be passed. The support member is coupled to the upper end of the locking member. The support member supports so that the locking member is fixed.
