DISPLACEMENT SENSOR APPARATUS AND DISPLACEMENT MEASURING METHOD

PURPOSE: Displacement measuring sensor and method are provided to be able to measure the displacement of entire range by measuring the deformation ratio applied to a cantilever member after switching a rotation motion to a rectilineal motion. CONSTITUTION: A displacement measuring sensor comprises a displacement wire(7), a roll part(8), a motion switching part, a cantilever(2), and a fiber bragg grating(FBG) sensor(1). The roll part winds the displacement wire and rotates according to the length change of the displacement wire. The motion switching part changes the rotation momentum of the roll part changed according to the length change of the displacement wire to rectilineal momentum. One end of the cantilever is fixed to the motion switching part. One end of the cantilever moves as the motion switching part makes a rectilineal motion. The FBG optical fiber sensor is installed at the cantilever and senses the bending degree of the cantilever.
