PURPOSE: A device and a method for providing SOS service in a mobile terminal are provided to output alarm through sound source transmission in the mobile terminal, thereby rapidly managing emergency situation of a user. CONSTITUTION: If a SOS running signal is detected, a control unit generates a SOS message. The control unit transmits the SOS message to set mobile terminal(405).
