APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SYSTEM USING 1-WIRE INTERFACE

PURPOSE: A system control apparatus using a single-wire interface and a method thereof are provided to receive data through one pin and use an analysis result for the received data in order to control an internal circuit. CONSTITUTION: A single-wire interface(20) counts the time for a reference time value, to be used as an internal clock signal, and generates a latch clock by using a clock count value, wherein the reference time value is received next to a start signal through one pin. The single-wire interface reads out a value inputted during the rising edge time point of a latch clock in order to extract data. In addition, the single-wire interface analyzes the extracted data according to a protocol determined based on the agreement of a transmission terminal in order to apply a control signal, an address, and data to a control unit(30).
