PURPOSE: A system for controlling power generation of a vehicle is provided to eliminate a separate sensor and to reduce a cost by setting a target voltage according to an output signal of an alternator. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling powder generation of a vehicle comprises: an alternator(100) generating electricity using an engine torque; a regulator(200) controlling an generated energy of the alternator according to a target voltage; and a controller(300) which predicts an electrical load from the output signal of the alternator and set the target voltage from the predicted electrical load. The electrical load is predicted from a duty value of the alternator and a RPM signal of the engine.
