PURPOSE: A digital multimedia broadcasting recording system for including meta-data and a method thereof are provided, which can offer the segment data coincided with AV when playing the recorded DMB AF file. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting stream processor(102) processes the received broadcast stream. A meta-data processor(104) processes the received meta-data. A meta-data converter(105) changes the processed meta-data according to the filmed time. A DMB AF generating unit(106) transforms the processed broadcast stream and the changed meta-data into the DMB AF(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting Application Format) file.
