DISPLAY NETWORK AND METHOD FOR RECEIVING A CONTENTS DATA FROM A SERVER IN DISPLAY NETWORK

PURPOSE: A display system and a method for receiving data which forms a network are provided to form the network in a multimedia play device and receive contents data from server in each play device within the network, thereby sharing the contents data between playing devices. CONSTITUTION: The first multimedia playing device(502) transmits state information of multimedia playing devices to a server(520). The server transmits control information of the multimedia playing devices within the first display system network(500) to the first multimedia playing device. The first multimedia playing device retransmits the control information to each multimedia playing device. The multimedia playing device shares contents data with other multimedia playing device in the first display system network, after receiving other contents data from a server.
