PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to compensate a kickback voltage by making a common voltage which is applied to the left side, right side, or the central of a liquid crystal panel different. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel(102) comprises a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines. A gate driver(104) drives the plurality of gate lines. A data driver(106) drives the plurality of data lines. A timing controller(108) controls the driving timings of the data driver and the gate driver. A common voltage generator(110) generates a common voltage. The common voltage is applied to a common electrode of the liquid crystal panel. A common voltage compensator(112) compensates for the common voltage. A sectional common voltage divider(114) divides the compensated common voltage differently according to each region.
