During diving, the mechanism in question is loaded by the diver upon pulling of the arm to the right and pressing of the spring. At a possible incapaciting faint due to hypoxia, the diver’s muscle becomes feeble and the thumb loosen up while the loading arm is freed to pierce with the force of the spring the little gas cylinder and inflate the life preserver taking the diver on the sea surface in straight position, his head being above the water. |
