The invention refers to a drying and chemical decomposition method of condensates arising from the treatment of waste, hereinafter called as Carbonaceous Condensates (CC). The hot exhaust gases of a burner or an internal or external combustion engine are divided in two flows the first of which outflows in the atmosphere. The second flow comes into contact with the HCC and dehydrates them, in a closed system. Due to the high temperature upon which the dehydration of the HCC is made, a part thereof is decomposed chemically resulting in the production of inflammable gases and vapours. This mixture of exhaust gases and inflammable gaseous substances is reinserted in the engine or the burner and it is used as gaseous fuel that supplements the main fuel by which the engine or the burner is already supplied.
