PURPOSE: A self-buoyant water mill sliding along the water mill shaft with buoyant tank for current energy power generation is provided to improve generation efficiency corresponding to fluid speed variation according to water level change. CONSTITUTION: A self-buoyant water mill sliding along the water mill shaft with buoyant tank for current energy power generation comprises a fixed structure(20), a generator(50), and a water mill axis(30), and a water mill(40). The lower end of the fixed structure is fixed to the bottom of a sea floor side(10). The generator is installed on the top of the fixed structure. The upper end of the water mill axis is connected to the generator. The upper and lower parts of the water mill are supported on the fixed structure through a bearing. A guide is projected in the longitudinal direction. The water mill is connected to the water mill axis equipped with the guide and is integrated with a buoyant tank(41).
