LIGHT EMITTING DIODE AND BACKLIGHT UNIT HAVING THE SAME

摘要

PURPOSE: A light emitting diode and a backlight unit are provided to control a corrosion and discoloration with maintaining a high reflectivity by forming a protective layer with thing thickness formed into gold or a titanium on a reflective layer formed into a silver or an aluminum. CONSTITUTION: A lead frame(120) includes a base metal layer(120a), a reflective layer(120b) and a protective layer(120c). The reflective layer is formed on the surface of the base metal layer. The protective layer is formed into a metal on the surface of the reflecting layer. The lead frame includes a first lead terminal and a second lead terminal which electrically is separated each other. The reflecting layer includes one selected among a silver and an aluminum. The protective layer includes one selected among a gold and a titanium.
