THE CHARGING SYSTEM FOR MOBILE TERMINAL APPLICATION SERVICE AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A system and a method for processing charging of a portable terminal application service are provided to improve data transmission speed by transmitting and receiving data without passing through a relay gateway between a portable terminal application and a service server. CONSTITUTION: A service control server generates a temporary authentication key about a user of a portable terminal(S512). The authentication key is transmitted to the portable terminal and a billing control server(S513,S515). The billing control server receives a billing processing request and the authentication key from the user of the portable terminal(S531). The billing control server authenticates the user of the portable terminal by comparing the stored authentication key with the received authentication key(S533). If the authentication is succeeded, the billing control server performs billing.
