PURPOSE: A semiconductor light emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve a luminous efficiency including a reflective electrode with a superior adhesive force with a semiconductor layer. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting structure includes a first and second electrical conductive semiconductor layers(101,103) and an active layer(102). First and second electrodes(104,105) are respectively electrically connected to the first and the second electrical conductive semiconductor layer. A first layer(104a) is formed on the single-side of the first electrical conductive semiconductor layer. A second layer(104b) is formed on the first layer. A third layer(104c) is formed on the second layer. An adhesive power improving layer(104d) is formed between the first and the second layer or the second and the third layer.
