PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a supported catalyst for a fuel cell is provided to mass-produce the supported catalyst for the fuel cell including the excellent electro-activity with a simple process. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a supported catalyst for a fuel cell comprises the following steps: forming a metal precursor mixture solution including a base catalyst metal precursor, and ionic liquid; forming a reduced resultant by reducing the metal precursor mixture solution; purifying the reduced resultant and collecting the ionic liquid; and drying the purified product. The base catalyst metal precursor is chloride of platinum, a nitride, an oxide, or a halogenide.
