The method involves detecting whether a used data packet is missing or the used data packet is received in a modified manner such that linear combination of source packets forming the modified used packet is not conformed to a predetermined network coding scheme. A reconstituted result packet is constructed using all or part of redundant packets along a modified network coding scheme in case of positive detection. The reconstituted result packet is transmitted.
