PURPOSE: A pergola equipped with a self-development system is provided to perform self illumination without separate power supply. CONSTITUTION: A pergola equipped with a self-development system comprises a solar cell module plate(20), a storage battery(30), an intensity of illumination sensor(40), a lighting apparatus(50), and a controller(60). The solar cell module plate including a solar cell module producing the electricity with the sunlight is installed in a roof(11) at a tilt. The storage battery stores the electric power of generated in the solar cell module. The intensity of illumination sensor installed on the solar cell module plate or the roof senses illuminance and transmits the sensing signal. The lighting apparatus illuminates the inner or the outer side of a pergola. The controller controls the lighting apparatus according to the illuminance sensing signal connected and received to the storage battery, the intensity of illumination sensor, and the lighting apparatus.
