<p>A communication system and method, an information processing terminal and method, and an information processing apparatus and method capable of easily and reliably limiting access. When a PDA (11) is accessed, reader (2) of a personal computer (1) reads out a device ID stored in an IC tag (12). The personal computer (1) registers the device ID on a connection permission list and permits connection only from a device registered on the list. When instructed to access, the PDA (11) accesses the personal computer (1) by controlling a communication unit and transmits the device ID. The personal computer determines whether the device ID received is registered on the connection permission list. When yes, the connection is permitted. The present invention can be applied to various information processing apparatuses such as a personal computer and a PDA.</p> |
