The method involves correcting data reception defects by a calculation module e.g. electronic control unit, when a path is discontinuous due to the data reception defects, using parameters, where the path is defined by displacement of pressure on a touch-sensitive faceplate. The parameters are chosen from position of the pressure, speed of displacement of the pressure, and acceleration of displacement of the pressure. The correction of the path generates a continuous path that corresponds to the discontinuous path where data reception is carried out. An independent claim is also included for a touch-sensitive screen comprising a touch-sensitive faceplate.
