PURPOSE: An electromagnetic contactor having a wear resistance means is provided to prevent wear due to a friction by composing a friction generating part into a material having small friction coefficient. CONSTITUTION: An upper frame includes a fixed contact point and a guide rail. A cross bar(30) includes a slide unit(110) with sliding on the guide rail, a moving contact point contacted with the fixed contact point and a moving core. A lower frame includes a fixed core arranged to the moving core, an exiting coil with magnetizing the fixed core and a return spring with sanctioning an elastic force to the cross bar. The slide unit is composed separately from the crossbar. A material with forming the slide unit has small frictional coefficient about the guide rail comparing with the cross bar.
