The appliance (1) has a parallelepiped case (2) comprising a base (4), an occlusal face (7) and a gingival face (8), where the faces have slots (9). The case has two side faces and a vestibular face (5) parallel to a sole in which a groove (6) is arranged to receive a metallic arc. A clip (3) has a wall with two branches, where each branch has ribs (13). The clip is engaged on the case in a locked state of the appliance, in which the wall of the clip covers the vestibular face of the case and blocks the metallic arc in the groove. The ribs are engaged in the slots of the faces.
