PURPOSE: A portable GPS(global positioning system) distance measuring device for golf is provided to enable even a beginner to easily measure the driving distance of a golf course and the distance to a green hole and to keep the device at the buckle of a belt of the user. CONSTITUTION: A portable GPS(global positioning system) distance measuring device for golf comprises a belt, a buckle(20), a distance measurement unit(30), and an insertion part. The buckle fixes the belt. The distance measurement unit measures the driving distance of a golf course and the distance to a green hole using the GPS. The top, the bottom and the front of the insertion part are opened to be able to insert and keep the distance measuring unit into the top. The upper side, the lower side, and the front of the insertion part are opened and closed so that the range finder is kept by inserting into the top. The insertion part comprises a slide groove(22) and a jaw(23). The distance measuring unit is inserted into the slide groove. The jaw is formed on the outer circumference of the lower surface of the insertion part and enables the distance measuring unit not to be separated from the insertion part.
