PURPOSE: An apparatus for managing a new device component of a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to add a corresponding device component in real time while operating a domain system, thereby shortening installation time of a new component. CONSTITUTION: A component related file is defined in a domain profile(130). A device component(150) manages a device in a domain system. A device manager component(140) manages the component related file in a file directory structure. The device manager component additionally arranges a device component related file corresponding to the new device in case of mode change to a new device while operating the domain system.
