PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method for handwriting a memo in the same are provided to store a text inputted by handwriting by an image, thereby reducing a load for a processor. CONSTITUTION: If a user selects a fixed function through a menu operation, a controller executes a corresponding function according to user input(S101). If the handwriting memo function is selected through a user input unit during the function, the controller performs handwriting memo(S103,S105). If handwriting input is started on a handwriting memo screen, the controller recognizes input data. The controller displays the input data on the handwriting memo screen. The controller stores the screen by an image(S107).
